/CONFERENCE SCHEDULE /BACK TO MAIN
In the past few years, landmines have emerged as one of the greatest threats to human development in several regions.
Several conflicts have produced many dangerous lands with many embedded landmines.
There are huge number of people who were injured by such landmines.
How we remove such landmines is one of the most important problems to be urgently solved.
With this in mind, this workshop is organized to discuss about the humanitarian demining problem and how robotics can contribute to the humanitarian demining.
Together with discussions, the keynote speeches by the experts in this area will be planned to provide the current status of the demining researches in the world.
